P38, a pistol ahead of its time

I'm a P38 fan, I have two world war II P38 and one post war German army P1. It is a nicely designed weapon, way ahead of its time.

It's interesting to know so many modern military technology were started from World War II German weapon systems; assault rifle, jet fighter, stealth bomber, cruise missile and ballistic missile, the list goes on and on.

My World War II P38 collection

This year I acquired two World War II P38. They are nice collector pieces! Both are good looking, good rifling, and all matching serial numbers. One was made by Walther in 1943. The other was made by Spreewerk in 1944. The Walther AC 43 one has the single line code on the slide, which is very rare and adds more value to the gun.

Norinco NP-40, roughly made but accurate

Norinco NP-40, one of the Chinese copies of the CZ75/85 series. It's heavy, roughly made, got a sub-standard finish. But it's quite accurate! My NP-40 has a very strong recoil spring, therefore, it's kind of hard to open the action at the beginning. To fix this, I kept the action open and stored it this way in Gun Safe for months!

M-14 or M-16

M14 or M16? This is the question.

Easy to answer, because for me, I have both.
