Monster of the Universe
Just watched the PBS show “Monster of the Milky Wayâ€. It is fascinating. It showed the theory and the evidence of a monster black hole in the center of our galaxy. Well, I've long suspected so even when there's not much scientific evidence around. To me, it's common sense. Just by looking at the shape of these galaxies, these spiral shapes. Don't they resemble the whirling water draining down into a sink? There must be a sucker in the center of any galaxy, black hole or not.
The show also predicts a merge of our Milky Way with her bigger neighbor the Andromeda M31 galaxy. It will be violent. Our solar system will be probably thrown out into the void. Like I care:-) A bigger galaxy could be formed and our Milky Way black hole will be eaten by Andromeda black hole which is 50 times bigger. Bye, bye, Milky Way.
The show doesn't say much about what will happen after the merges of galaxies. Let my imagination run wide here. Suppose the universe is not expanding too fast so most galaxies are given chances to merge. Does this mean there exists the biggest black hole which is formed by sucking millions of galaxies? Where is it? This mother of all black hole should be the center of the universe! Let me call this black hole the “Monster of the Universeâ€.
What will be the future of our universe? I predict a universe with no stars, no galaxies, no light and one single mother monster black hole. And maybe someday this single black hole will finally suck clean all the matter in this universe and starts another big bang, therefore starts an old history all over again.
Yes, all over again, this also happened - A long long time ago, in a galaxy far far way...
