Spiral Galaxy M100
Overview
I've been deeply fascinated by the starry night sky since I was a child. Not sure if this interest is partly due to my given name, which means UNIVERSE in Chinese. Anyway, I dreamed about becoming a great astronomer or physicist to investigate the great puzzles in nature. This didn't happen. Instead, I've become a programmer. The PBS show "Monster of the Milky Way" has reawakened my curiosities. So I began to code this screen saver to partially realize my childhood dreams.
I'm also inspired by Vincent van Gogh and his painting "The Starry Night". A great artist with a tragic ending:-( Consider this screen saver as my 3D remake of his "Starry Night":-)
